Excellent location for travelling to Nottingham: railway station less than 5 mins on foot. Very reasonable price. Comfortable bed. No frills, but what I was looking for.

What a gem of a place this is, the staff are friendly and helpful, the room (family room 201) was bright, airey, clean andcomfortable, with a small kitchen and dining area. Beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a choice of cereals, toast or full English breakfast, which was delicious. The price is incredible and we did get parking on the drive which was a bonus.

The accommodation at Fairhaven was ideal for a short stay. The cooked breakfast is excellent and the manager is friendly and helpful.

This is a great bnb, the room is the perfect size and has everything you need for a short stay. Nice comfy bed and hot shower. The decor is quite dated but everything was clean and tidy. Only draw back were the thin walls between the rooms so I could hear the neighbours TV. Suggest taking good earplugs. Host was really friendly.

I had a great stay at the Fairhaven while attending The Beeston Film Festival. Tad, who runs the hotel with his wife, was very accommodating. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast, which Tad prepared with love, was certainly worth the add-on price of the accommodation. With such a close proximity to Beeston and the train station, it made life a lot easier when travelling. For the price, location, and hospitality, I would certainly stay here the next time I'm in Beeston.

Lovely little b&b, the host was very welcoming lovely person. Loads of places to park, loads of restaurants to choose from. Nice quiet area. The breakfast was delicious and very very quick, no complaints at all about that. Yes we would stay there again, it’s very good value for money and quiet area. The only issue I really had was room/bathroom/shower was a bit small but my partner was ok with the size!! But larger build or over 6’2 you will struggle. Apart from that was lovely!!Thank you

A lovely and clean place to stay with a warm welcome from the host. The room was warm, neat and tidy albeit slightly dated but that should not be taken as a complaint. The ensuite shower is a tight fit and basic but the shower was hot and working perfectly. Strangely enough the sink basin is on the bedroom but not a problem. Tea and coffee available with microwave and TV. Our only complaint are the solid pillows and apparently my snoring. Breakfast was full English or cereal and was piping hot. For us it was great for an overnight stay and an UBER only cost £13 to get into the city centre

I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks (so quite a long stay). The staff is very kind and the breakfast is amazing. The rooms serve their purpose: have a nice bed, a small desk, and good illumination.

I really enjoyed my stay, I stayed in a room with a single bed it was small and cosy. The en-suite was the perfect size for one person. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was incredibly nice! If I ever had to come back to Nottingham I would definitely stay there again.

Fairhaven is a lovely guest house. My room was adequate, small but clean and comfortable, include TV tea/coffee making facilities but unfortunately no ensuite luxury. Breakfast is provided and certainly sets you up for the day. The owners are very pleasant, approachable and helpful. Parking was readily available. My booking was a last minute one but Fairhaven provided suitable accommodation. The pricing and location were ideal for my needs. I would certainly consider returning should I revisit the area. Had a very enjoyable stay Saturday June 10th, stayed in a single room, very comfy bed, clean bedding and clean shower and toilet. Had an excellent full English breakfast in the morning, with juice, tea and toast and all included in the price!The owner was very nice and easy to get on with, I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone, way cheaper than a Premier Inn, plus a free breakfast!

Second time I've stayed at Fairhaven for work. Ideal location for me, close to Beeston with lots of amenities, and close to central Nottingham but not too close! A friendly welcome again and can happily recommend as a place to stay.

Fantastic hosts running the hotel wholeheartedly. Pleasure to meet them. Train station 3min walk and tram stop some 12min walk - both will get you into city centre swiftly.

I had a very comfortable stay at Fairhaven Hotel. I had no problems at all, the owner was very friendly and location wise, it's a short walk to Beeston station for trains into Nottingham.

I stayed at the Fairhaven for two nights as I was in Nottingham for a funeral. Owners were very obliging and nothing was to much trouble, also an excellent breakfast which is important to me to start the day off right. Will definitely stay their again when next in Nottingham.

Whilst the bed was comfy and the room was clean, have to say, rang the landline (as was travelling in a car on a journey without zero warning as our child had been in an accident) and rang ahead to book room over the phone (and pay with card) but was told had to go through website. Walls are quite thin, could hear the person in other room who was not being overly loud. However, for the money, if you're wanting just a place to sleep and shower, it does the job.

I was visiting family and friends. This was a great location for both. Train station to Nottingham was just five minutes away, a one stop journey. Beeston is a great shopping centre with some very interesting produce. The pub, just literally off station platform 1, is very good for eating and has a wide range of brews. The hotel itself is a family business. Welcoming, helpful and well organised. My room was simply laid out, had a very good bed, and was spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee facilities were provided. It made for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was equally well thought through. Great coffee, cereals and a range of cooked options, including vegetarian choices. Onsite parking was available too. Definitely on my return list.

Extremely happy with my stay considering the price paid for an ensuite single room with free parking. Rooms were basic but clean and had everything you need. There might not be much flexibility on check-in & breakfast times, but the hotel is run by a couple so I guess they do need some time off - also when I phoned the owner he was helpful and happy to let me leave my car the morning I arrived, before returning to check in later. Would definitely stay again at these prices.

FH provides a good basic place to stay. Clean bedrooms with a small ensuite shower an, WC and hand basin. Beds are warm and comfortable. One minor complaintis that rooms are on the small side and can make for difficult manoeuvring for two people.Breakfast was the traditional full english (or any variant thereof) plus cereal, toast and tea/coffee.Car Parking and Wi-Fi are free. The owners were very friendly and helpful.Another minor irritation is that FH is located some distance from shops and restaurants. A car is important.Overall a pleasant and comfortable place to stay.

Sadly I did not get to stay at the Fairhaven Hotel.I had booked it for an overnight stay for a funeral but when the request for conformation came I realised I had chosen the wrong day,I contacted the proprietor who could not change the booking and informed me I should contact booking.com where I had made the original booking.However, in order to contact booking.com I needed a confirmation booking number and a 4 digit pin.This I never received.I never stayed at the Fairhaven and will never use Booking.com for future booking.

Me and my wife stayed last weekend,we were welcomed by a gentleman (think he was the owner),very pleasant guy,our stay was very nice,comfortable bed ,breakfast in the morning choice of cereals to start,orange juice followed by a full English and a pot of tea which was excellent,overall a very pleasant stay .

We stayed 3 nights at Fairview. It is close to Beeston Railway Station only a few minutes walk. The town centre is also only a short walk where you will find all you need. Our room was bright, clean,comfortable & warm. The shower was very good plenty of hot water. Would recommend & will definitely book for our next visit.

The room was clean and comfortable and the facilities were sufficient for short stays.Breakfast included a full English and was good for both quality and quantity!Location is good for access to the city, and in a quiet area, but the car park is a little tight (though there is ample free on street parking if necessary).We would happily use Fairhaven again in the future.

I stayed for 2 nights and had a comfortable and trouble free stay. I enjoyed the cooked breakfast a found the room and hotel was clean, tidy and quiet. It's all I require as a single traveller on a work trip. I drove into Nottingham centre from the hotel each morning, which took maybe 15-20 mins in morning traffic, so that was fine for me too.

Spacious and clean room, the tea and coffee was well stocked, the shower was nice and hot, the carpet was extra fluffy. Will definitely be coming here again.

myself, my wife and our friends stayed at Fairhaven Hotel on a travel staycation and we were pleasantly surprized at the service, cleanliness, parking and helpfulness of the Staff. upon arrival we were greated very politely and escorted into the main reception, we didnt have to wait as we had booked in pre arrival and everything was all set up for us. the gentleman was very very kind and friendly and helpful showing us to our rooms. The rooms where very clean tidy and wonderful having in room bathroom and showers, comfy beds and full ammenities. Our breakfast was included in the price and it was very good, again great sevice and friendly, Excellent value for what we paid and highly recommend to others. Our stay was made very comfortable. The welcome was excellent, the room was clean, comfortable and met all our needs for the one night stay we booked. Breakfast was cooked to order and satisfying. Onsite parking was easy and the location for our trip to the Test Match the next day was great.Providing a hand towel as well as a bath towel would be a good improvement.

We had a very well appointed twin bedroom suite with comfortable beds. A front facing bay window room on first floor. Some traffic noise in the morning but expected. Superb breakfast.

A little gem if you are looking for a comfy bed and a good breakfast. The Polish couple that own the business are lovely and have invested a lot of time and money.They cannot do enough for you.The rooms have everything you need including a microwave. The shower was a bit small but plenty of hot water. The room was quiet and we didn’t hear any noise from other rooms.We will def stay here again and highly recommend it.

Clean and tidy

I stayed here as my first time visiting Nottingham. Lovely little B&B. Free onsite parking too. Very polite and helpful gentleman was running the reception and cooking the breakfast in the morning. Very clean and tidy B&B, with all the facilities that you would need. Although doesn't look as close on the map as other hotel's it is very convenient to get to and from Nottingham. I took the Skyline blue buses to and from the hotel, very easy to do and drops you off straight in the centre of Nottingham high street and only about 9 mins walk from the bus stop back to the hotel. Very cheap too in comparison to taxis. The buses run every 20-30 mins and until early hours in the morning, so very convenient. A very competitive price for the hotel too, far cheaper than the very expensive hotels in the city centre. For how convenient travel was I wouldn't think about going anywhere else. I will definitely come back here again the next time I visit Nottingham. If you're not after a very expensive and fancy hotel then this is definitely the one that you should go to instead. Very good value for money and convenient.

We stayed overnight to enable us to spend the weekend with our children/grandchildren. We were most pleasantly surprised with the greeting, accommodation and breakfast.Great value for money and a nice relaxed atmosphere. we will be back!!

Family run business in traditional large semi-detached property. The owner, Tad, and his wife were very attentive over our welfare.They are Polish and the decor was ethnic which we found charming. The whole place was Covid secure, with hand sanitizer at the entrance and frequent cleaning of shared door handles etc.Our room was small but beds very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was brilliant and freshly prepared. Location within easy walking distance of central Beeston and very close to the station.Ideal for our requirements.

The family room is huge and was very clean. Much better equipped than I would have expected. We only stayed one night but could have easily stayed a few. Well located a very short walk from the train station and no noise the night we stayed. Friendly owner too.

This is the second time that I have stayed at the Fairhaven Hotel (my previous visit was in December 2019 with my wife) and I was not disappointed. Tad, the proprietor, is extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and, in these COVID19 times, I felt totally safe.On both occasions when I have stayed I have had a full English breakfast, which has been well cooked to order.I shall definitely be returning!

Hosts very nice and accommodating.Family room, large bedroom, large bathroom and kitchenette area, more like a mini apartment, was surprise how large it was.Beds comfy, kitchen well equipped and all clean and tidy. Free parking. Good breakfast. The room itself could do with a bit of updating, but a comfortable stay and would stay again.

The room was clean and warm. Clean towels provided every second day. I asked for a microwave and I got one. The staff was very polite and helpful. Reccommendation for all singles who likes rooms with their own bathrooms for the fair price.

Perhaps not the newest of bathrooms, but all spotlessly clean as was the rest of the house including the breakfast room. Everything there that we required, kettle, hairdryer etc. Beds are comfortable. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who also made the breakfast next morning. He clearly aimed to please. Could not have asked for more.

For me the location was great, a minute's walk from the station and an easy 10 minute walk into the town centre.

I only need a small room and single bed for the night. The room was compact but had everything I needed for a night. It was a shared bathroom but everything worked and both the room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly.

I stay at this hotel from time to time and I always find it clean. and good value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful; the rooms are simple, no frills, but with everything you need. In terms of location, it is very convenient as it is close to Beeston railway station and there are shops and other transport links (bus and tram) within walking distance.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fairhaven. We were warmly greeted by the owner and directed to our family room. We found the room to be large and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was big with a corner bath with a shower over it as well as a hand heled showerhead. The added bonus was having a small kitchen area with a fridge and microwave. The cooked breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. An amazing Italian restaurant was within 10 minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend for a short family stay.

I stayed in the single room (paid the extra £2 for the en suite). Room was small, but i was on my own so didnt need a ballroom. It was clean and comfortable. Only slight negative was the water pressue in the shower... You could have a shower, but ive been caught in heavier drizzle when out for a walk. Receptionist/owner(?) Was very polite and friendly. I didnt have breakfast so cant comment on that.

For £35 for a single bed room with a sink was excellent value. I didn’t bother with paying extra for breakfast as it was an early start so can’t comment on that. Room was small, but had a kettle and tv. Pillows are super hard so bring your own if you don’t like that sort of thing! Check in was friendly and painless.

Located just near the Beeston center, the hotel is clean and provides you great hospitality. The staff was extremely friendly,. We arrived well before check-in time, however the staff kindly welcomed us and provided the room. This is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. Exactly what you need when come for a University Graduation week. Very pleased.

I have stayed at this hotel three times in the last few months. It suits me well as it is close to Beeston Centre and very close to the station. It's clean and comfortable, and although the rooms are small, they're fine for a single person. It's good value! The hosts are always friendly and helpful.

My daughter and I only stayed the one night ahead of a University visit the following day, but we were very impressed with this little gem! We arrived fairly late in the day, just ahead of reception closing, but were greeted by very friendly staff before going on up to our very comfortable twin room. The beds were very comfortable indeed and the whole place was spic and span. Next morning we were treated to a delicious freshly-cooked breakfast which really set us up for the day ahead. Very handily located for the Uni as well as Wollaton Park, I'd certainly be very happy to stay at Fairhaven again.

Clean and comfortable Bed and Breakfast with friendly staff. Conveniently located close to the train and tram. I chose to stay in a single room with ensuite. The bed was comfortable, the linens fresh and the kettle with tea and coffee much appreciated. I am very happy to have stayed here and will return the next times I am in Beeston.

I had an enjoyable pleasant stay. The owneris very friendly and the facilities are good although the rooms are small. If you just want a good value place to stay that does a very good breakfast and the small room is not a problem this is the place for you.

Singe room, not en-suite. The roon is slightly small but is furnished with a woek desk and chair, unlike many rooms of this price range. Clean, very warm and a comfortable bed. Breakfast freshly cooked and more than ample. Also, off road parking for your vehicle, in an area of Nottingham that seems reasonably quiet. 10 minutes off J25 of the M1. Tesco, Sainsbury, CO-op and Lidl plus plenty of eateries in Beeston about a mile away. Recommended as a good, but basic, Bed and Breakfast.

We have been regular guests at the Fairhaven for a couple of years now and that alone should indicate the welcome and comfort we experience here. Few places will beat this for value for money and its convenient location with access to both Beeston and the city centre always make this our first choice. Parking is more than adequate and on our last visit was able to accommodate our trailer.Breakfast is generous (but currently lacks the black pudding which would make it a true "full" breakfast).

Service was polite and great. You can see that the owners put a great care to the hotel. Hospitality was also amazing. Oh and did I mention the food was sublime?

Great little guest house on the outskirts of Nottingham. We were attending the splendour festival and it was the perfect place to stay. Lovely and clean nothing was too much trouble for the host. The breakfast was scrumptious. 2 mins to Beeston train station which was then 5 mins into Nottingham. Would definitely recommend this place if you need somewhere to stay as an overnight stay

I don't think it would be possible to meet a better and more committed hotelier and his wife. I stayed at the Fairhaven through a long and very difficult period and they looked after me so well with much kindness and thoughtfulness. The hotel is very comfortable, clean and quiet and the breakfast is truly excellent! I've been as comfortable here as if I were at home!

This was just the ticket for my purposes - a one night stopover to see a relative on my way North. The room was entirely adequate and good value. I will be booking again.

Stayed for 2 nights while visiting our daughter in Beeston. The Hotel is very clean and the breakfast is very good as my wife is very picky and she ate everything which is very unusual for her.The only thing to moan about was the bed, the mattress was very uncomfortable as we are used to a very firm mattress and the bathroom shower had seen better days, and not enough wardrobe space so just as well our stay was a short one. Apart from that everything was great.One thing my wife didn’t like was the artificial airfreshner smell in the hallway and I had to agree, we had to hold our breath while unlocking the room door as it took your breath. Essential oils would be a better choice.

Located just 200 m from Beeston station, it is only a 6 or 7 minute train journey to Nottingham City Centre. Would be happy to stay there again.

We arrived a little late at 11.30 am and the manager allowed me to get changed for the wedding in one of the bathrooms. He gave us the keys and we came back to the hotel about 10.30 pm.The room was clean & comfortable and the breakfast was very good.Good value for money.

I arrive at 9.30pm on a Saturday night to find someone waiting for us and happy to help with the parking of my car and to let me know where the nearest local facilities were. The rooms were simple but met my expectations. Even though we left at 7.15 the following Sunday someone was on hand to help if needed. What more could one want?

This is a basic good value B&B very close to Beeston station which was handy. 25 mins walk from the uni. It was clean and functional and breakfast was good.

I stayed one night in a single bed ensuite room on the second floor for £45 including vat and breakfast.The ensuite was bijou but perfectly functional. The whole room was very clean, warm, recently decorated, TV & blip worked fine, and the bed was newish and comfortable. Breakfast was a full English if wanted, with cereals, toast, orange juice, tea/coffee. I arrived to a welcoming and helpful proprietor, who kindly explained the way to the Victoria where I went for an evening bar snack. To my delight I found it to be an excellent CAMRA pub offering a choice of 16 real ales in a relaxing wood burning atmosphere. Having a business meeting in Beeston the next morning, the location was spot on. If I had to be picky, there was a slight smell of drains when I entered the room but this went as soon as I ran some water into the sink and shower, so I suspect the S traps had simply dried out. I really enjoyed my overnight stay at the Fairview and would stay again.

The double bedroom was rather small and the showerroom was very tight and not much space for toiletry items.did not sleep too well as the bed on my side had a spring sticking up sowhatever way you moved it hurt.Also the reception area was locked when we needed to sit in there out of the cold when we had to wait for a taxi to arrive.This area I think should be open at all times.

Easy to find, reasonable number of parking spaces but parking area not very well utilised due to shape and boundary wall. Plenty of road parking if required.Very friendly and helpful owner Quick and easy check-in.Room 102 - en-suite single and a bit small. No table to work. Squeaky bed springs but comfortable firm mattress. Space not likely to be convenient if one has a bag larger than a smallish carry-on, so good for a two nights stay at most. Double room might be better. TV with freeview so enough channels available for the evening.En-suite bathroom was also very small, but clean. Small sink, so water splashed on the floor. Reasonable shower but not great shower amenities. Floor tiles a bit old.Wifi was poor - could connect to router but sign-up page never opened. So could not use. Other rooms on the floor had their bathroom in hallway - gets noisy in the morning when other were guests using it.Tea/coffee amenities fairly good, PG tips, no biscuits, large mug and good kettle. Very nice full english breakfast, served very good coffee. Neat and clean dining and other common spaces.All in all good, I think the owners make a genuine effort and do a good job overall. Recommended for short stays.

I stayed in room 206 which is a very good budget single room, slept well and enjoyed the hotel's breakfast. This hotel is well located for the university or the city centre via a cheap & quick train ride.

The service and breakfasts were first rate, but our room was small with nowhere to put things down (other than the floor).The window would also not open just a little - it had to be wide open or shut.We felt the guest house was just average.

Stayed for one night with my son prior to a Nottingham University open day. The hotel was very conveniently located. The welcome was warm, the room was comfortable enough and breakfast was nice. Off road parking was good. All in all it was good value for money at £65 for b&b for two people and I would go back if I need to stay near the University again.

This is our second visit to the hotel and it is great value for money. Most of the big hotels charge for parking and breakfast which is all included in the hotels price. Location to the Uni and centre is very good.

I had a very nice stay in this B&B in a single room with shared toilet. It had nearly everything what is required, it was very good value for money. The staff was very friendly and efficient, provided good breakfasts and were responsive to any requests. The B&B is located close to the city centre and shops. I can recommend this hotel to any travellers.

Fairhaven was ideal for our week attending the Aegon Tennis tournament for the week being on a direct bus route to the tennis centre. We were quite comfortable and enjoyed breakfast which set us up for the day.

Reminding us of a cross between a hotel and a B&B of yore, this stay ticked the right boxes for us, looking for a local hotel to the university. Our only complaint is the need for thicker or even blackout curtains, as waking to the sun in your face at 0448 isn't what we had planned!

Recently stayed at Fairhaven for an overnight stay due to attending a conference at East Midlands Conference Centre.The location was very close which was good.The hotel provided value for money.The owners were very helpful and friendly.The breakfast was excellent and would definitely recommend.My only issues were the bed pillow definitely needed replacing and the parking was on a first come basis only (limited space).

I stayed two night and found it a pleasant stay. Great English breakfasr and very helpful personal. The only things what irritated me a bit was that the fire escape route went right through my room and that there was no power outket next to the bed. Otherwise, I was happy.

We found Fairhaven Guest house to be efficient, clean, spacious and helpful for our one overnight in Nottingham. We would recommend it.

This is my third stay at The Fairhaven Hotel. If you're looking for a comfortable, affordable stay I'd thoroughly recommend it.Yes, the decor is a little dated, and the facilities are a basic but this is more that made up for by the excellent location, cheap prices, great breakfast, clean room, comfortable bed and very friendly welcome.

We were given a family room. It was huge with lovely big bathroom and even a kitchen area. Breakfast very good too. Excellent location for railway station In Beeston. Very quick trip into Nottingham.

I stayed in Fairhaven hotel for a week. The room was clean. The owner was very kind and helpful so that I stayed a bit longer than I first expected. Though wifi signal was too weak to use in the room, most things were pretty nice and satisfactory.

I booked online and was surprised at how easy and efficient the service was. The manager was very friendly and welcoming when I arrived, and again at breakfast the next morning,I stayed in a double room with en-suite. The bed was comfortable, and the room was lovely and warm. The decor was slightly dated, and the en-suite (though clean) was tiny - however both were perfectly adequate for my short stay.The hotel is ideally placed for the train station, and is just a short walk away from the supermarkets in Beeston.The breakfast was really good, everything cooked fresh to order and very quickly.All in all I enjoyed my stay, and would have no hesitation in a return visit.

The breakfast is really excellent. We would use it again and would also heartily recommend the nearby Victoria public house.

Unfortunately I didn't get chance to sample the breakfast, but getting breakfast included in the room rate makes the Fairhaven hotel even better value for money. We have been staying at the Fairhaven on our visits to Nottingham over the last 2 and a half years. From our first stay we were impressed with the warm welcome from the manager and his hospitality, he even provided us with an ironing board and extra tea bags. The location is ideal for visiting Nottingham. You can benefit from a quiet night's sleep in accommodation of superior value for money than offered by hotels in the city centre. The hotel offers free parking and is ideally located for the university. Nottingham city centre can be easily reached by train (Beeston station is a 5 minute walk away), bus or taxi- a taxi back from the city centre costs around £15 in the early hours. Our room we stayed in was large and comfortable. We always appreciate the breakfast provided, you can help yourself to cereal and fresh juice before tucking into a full English offered with tea or coffee and toast. We will continue to stay at the Fairhaven on our future visits to Nottingham and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable night's sleep in an accessible location, with a warm welcome provided at excellent value for money.

Todd provided excellent service throughout my weeklong stay. He was helpful, informative, polite and professional. Having just travelled overnight from the United States, it was really good to have such a pleasant person help me to settle in.

I had a lovely stay at Fairhaven, in a double room for single occupancy.A great welcome, my bag was carried to my room which hardly ever happens in B&Bs.Very clean, good service and a speedy full English breakfast in the morning.Fully recommend.

Greeted on arrival by very friendly staff. No interferance just straight up to our room. Room was good, clean and tidy with tea, coffee and shower gel supplies. Breakfast was great with quick service. My girlfriend even proposed to me during our stay! Would definately recommend and return to!

The guest house was very clean although a bit basic but this was reflected in the price.Had a great breakfast and felt very welcome.

I got exactly what I booked! The room was very small, but Clean and tidy! The bed was creaky but comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful when I needed some information. The breakfast was Excellent!! Total bargain for £29.00. I felt safe, and would definitely stay there again.The only improvement would be to Grout the tiles in the shower. It was clean but a bit of grout would make it look much better. Overall a great cheap place to stay!!

The room and the shared shower room were extremely well-maintained. I was so impressed. Nothing fancy, everything is designed to meet just basic needs for travelers but the hotel perfectly lived up to my expectation for two star hotels. Good value for the price. You would not regret.

Very good value for money and very close to Beeston Station.As far as I could tell this was also the closest Bed and Breakfast to the University and so was ideal. I had a fine cooked breakfast on Sunday morning with limitless supplies of tea, orange juice and hot toast; the service was very friendly and courteous.I would certainly use the Fairhaven Hotel again if going back to Nottingham University for a weekend.Thank you.

Pleasant, generally quiet, aside from the creaky beds, and good service.

We stayed 2 nights Bed and Breakfast in the Fairhaven Hotel. We stayed in a family room. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom was large well fitted and clean. The breakfasts were very good. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had excellent value for money and the hotel was convenient for our appointment at the Queens Medical Centre (2.5 miles away)If we have one criticism (and it is a common failing among most establishmments) there are no black-out curtains which is a bit of a pain when young children wake up with the light.Other than that our stay was 5 star and we would use this ghotel again and have no worries about recommending it.

I come to Nottingham occasionally to go to tournaments at Games Workshop on Lenton Lane, and the Fairhaven hotel is the best place I've found. The first thing that attracted me was the price, but the comfortable clean rooms, polite and helpful staff, and breakfast cooked to order and to perfection is why I returned and me and my friends will be back here again the next time we need somewhere to stay in Nottingham.

Our stay was pleasant.Staff were very nice and helpful.Lovely ensuite room, if somewhat hot.The radiator did not have thermostatic controls.Breakfast could have been improved with a choice of vegetarian sausages.
